what's next on your to do list?
“To be free is to be free from poverty, exploitation, thirst and disease, as well as to be free to act”.
For five days from April 16th to 20th, young people around the world will exercise their freedom to act by taking part in Five Days for Freedom.
Over the course of the week, young people will commit to a variety of awareness and fundraising efforts to take action for their peers in developing communities. Then on Friday, April 20, it’s time to have some fun at Freedom Fest – a school-wide event celebrating the difference students are making in the lives of children around the world.
Whether you’re wrapping up a year of global action as a We school or Youth in Action group, or if this is the first time you’ve been involved with Free The Children, Five Days for Freedom is your chance to make a difference. Mobilize your entire student body in one week of action to reach your fundraising goal. It’s easy and fun!
