The Soul of Bread(9:30pm) Three young lives intersect in a small town bakery, where bread is the language of love. Gao-Bing works in a failing small town bakery. The owner, Mr. Chiu, is obsessed with his Rock ’n ’Roll band, and his son Bro has no intention of learning the trade. Gao-Bing doesn’t know what to do except to keep making bread the way he has always done. Ping is Mr. Chiu’s daughter and Gao-Bing’s childhood sweetheart. Faced with the prospect of spending the rest of her life in this humdrum town, eating the same bread day after day, she’s beginning to feel more and more restless. Enter Bread, the handsome young baker from France who comes to town looking for memories of his mother and falls in love with Ping instead. Can Gao-Bing save the bakery and find the recipe for true love?
