UBC Botanical Garden Apple Festival, Oct 13-14
A family-friendly celebration of apples!
Sample uncommon apple varieties,
including organic and heritage,
and purchase bagged apples and trees.
The festival includes
crafts, food, demonstrations,
and children’s activities.
From children learning about the diversity of apples
to those who remember tasting heritage apples in their youth,
the Apple Festival is a great opportunity
to not only discover more about this delicious fruit,
but have a whole lot fun doing it!
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Apple Festival will be hosting the naming ceremony for the very popular SPA 493 apple!
Saturday, October 13th at 1:00 p.m. on the great lawn to be one of the first to find out the name of Canada’s newest apple.
