 The Stories of My New Neighbours: Immigrant Youth Stage Play

The Stories of My New Neighbours(新邻居) – Over 120 immigrant youth and parents from 15 schools are involved in this immigrant youth stage play capturing the struggles, challenges and successes experienced by newcomers in this new land they call home. Organized by the VSB SWIS Program: Byng Inclusion Project 3B in partnership with ART Plus, SUCCESS and Vancouver Asian Heritage Month Society, this production is also a fundraiser for KidSafe. The production is in English with Chinese and English subtitles. Tickets are $5.00 each and 100% of the proceed goes towards KidSafe. Performance is on May 24 from 7:15pm to 9:15pm in the Auditorium of Lord Byng Secondary School at 3939 West 16th Ave., Vancouver.
